Many mechanical test instruments used in biomedical applications are placed in facilities such as cleanrooms, vivariums and cell culture laboratories. Some facilities have very stringent requirements in terms of allowable environmental pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, and aerosol particles.

BioDynamic test instruments and other ElectroForce systems can be placed inside cell culture incubators following appropriate aseptic techniques without inducing contamination.
