Theory & Applications Courses

TA Instruments Theory & Applications Courses are one-day lecture based courses designed to familiarize the user with an understanding of the specific TA instrument technology, method development, operating techniques and applications. A tuition credit is included with the purchase of a module for one person per instrument purchase. The tuition credit or waiver is valid for two (2) years after purchase. Attendance in the courses can also be purchased for additional colleagues. The courses are scheduled at regular intervals, sometimes in conjunction with the Hands-On Courses.

Training Details
Who should attend?

Any new or existing users looking for basic instrumental theory, calibration information, and/or diverse application examples. These lecture-based courses are offered for multiple product lines including thermal analyzers, microcalorimeters and rheometers.

For further information on the specific instruments covered in each course, please refer to the Course Outline section below. Check the “Course Schedule” link for information about when each type of training will be conducted.

It is recommended that users have a minimum of two months experience using the instruments to get the most benefit from these courses. Another recommendation/pre-requisite includes viewing the recorded QuickStart courses which can be found in the “Videos” section.
